Jesus' Birthday Party at School

Today we celebrated Jesus' birthday at school with all of Mary Jane's friends!  Mary Jane loves school and loves her friends.  She especially loves her teacher.  We feel so blessed that she is able to be where she is going.  It was a special morning and Mary Jane enjoyed it as did I.  Here are a few pictures of our time this morning.  Notice Mary Jane is quite the ham in front of the camera.......

Here are the notes Mary Jane wrote to her teachers....too precious not to share.  She wrote those letters all by herself and wanted to draw her dancing for her teachers.

Gymnastics

Tonight was Mary Jane's show off night for her gymnastics class!  She did so wonderful and showed us all her new tricks.  She showed us how she does a cart wheel, a forward roll after coming off her flip on the bar, her jumping into the pit with no fear, and her forward roll on the balance beam!  YAY!  :)

The Nutcracker

Today was Mary Jane's first time to see the nutcracker!  She loved it and has been carrying her nutcrackers around with her since.  They read with her, they play with her, and they even ride around in mommy's purse when she gets tired of them.  :) She has also been Clara since the day we saw it.  She dances around and tells everyone her name is Clara.  So sweet.  It was a really great performance and it was a fun memory we got to share with Meme!

My 30th Birthday!

We celebrated my 30th birthday at the Gaylord Texan!  Here a few pix of the night of fun we had together as a family.  So grateful for everyone being together to celebrate my 30 years.  So thankful for each day He gives me and I am looking forward to growing more and living more in the next years than I have up to this point.  Thankful and blessed.

Thanksgiving Treats

Inspired by something I saw on pinterest, Mary Jane and I set out to find the ingredients to make something for our cousins that we will see in two days at the lakehouse.  She was so excited to make them our turkeys and was so proud of her work.  It was a special memory for me too.  Here is the finished product!

Garage!

So here is the background story.  The spring of 2010 our house sold and we had to be out by April 30.  We moved in with my parents thinking that we would be moving into our new house in early June.  Well, to make a long story short, God had other plans and we ended up living with my parents till August 2010.  They took us in and loved us, served us, and let us take over their house for those 4 months.  We prayed and looked for the home that God would have us purchase and through a long series of paperwork and looking, we found THE house the we knew God wanted us to have.  It is and has been more of blessing with each day that passes and we feel so blessed and unworthy to be in this home.  All that to say, when we moved in I was 9 months pregnant with a very large baby boy and we moved and an basically just put things in places as much as we could to prepare for the arrival of Caden.  Our garage took the wrath of unopened boxes, my trailer full of teaching stuff, and all the leftover junk that hadn't been paid attention to for months.  Over the last year, Chris has done his best to reorganize the stuff in the garage and keep it somewhat walkable, but it was just easy fixes to the bigger problem of actually digging through and reorganizing every single thing in there.  This project was much larger than the time we had and it has been something we both have wanted to do since we moved in.  Well, here we are November of 2011 and we have actually started this process!  It is a work in progress but our goal is to have this done and completely organized and accessible by next summer.  Thanks to my hubby working a full day out there just starting the entire process we now have room to park a car in there!  This is a big deal if you saw it before.  :)  Anyways, here are the pix of the work we got done today.....and hopefully a finished product pic will be coming in the next few months.

Here is a sweet picture of my little dancer.

And here is me with my babies while we watch Boz and cuddle.  Love my cuddle times with my babies.  So very blessed.

Freddie the tadpole

Well we now have a pet.  He has no legs, lives in the water, and is not a fish.  Any guesses?  Yes we have a pet tadpole.  :)  Mary Jane has named him Freddie and he started out just as a little tadpole without any legs but now has 2 little legs sticking out there.  It is a big deal in our house now and Mary Jane loves to feed and take care of Freddie.  More updates to come!
